Tyler Perry is one of today’s greatest successful icons. He’s been a source of inspiration for so many persons out there, from entrepreneurs, to artistes, to pretty much anyone with a dream that they want to see come through. All this just stems from his life experiences and testimony alone. He proves that with God’s grace that anything is possible. With immense determination, patience and direction Tyler Perry shows how success in this dark world can still be attained. Tyler says that he was “Born into poverty and raised in a household scarred by abuse, he fought from a young age to find the strength, faith and perseverance that would later form the foundations of his much-acclaimed plays, films, books and shows.” This just goes to show that it doesn’t matter how weak life makes you, God makes you stronger than you ever were to get past the hurt and failures, to then press to your ultimate goal.
You may know Tyler Perry from a number of his hit plays, movies and TV shows, ranging from “Meet the Browns” to “Diary of Mad Black Woman” to “House of Payne.” Yes we have loads of respect for Tyler Perry, to see where he came from to where he is now, and we just love his work, but the most entertaining of all his work (for us) is definitely the “Madea” character (Reemon is a huge Madea fan- Madea= Belly full of laughter lol.) Tyler Perry’s newest film is schedule to be released June 29th “Madea’s Witness Protection” and is promising to be hilarious, so check it out when it drops, we sure will.
Here is a very moving video, up close and personal with Tyler himself just pouring his heart out on strategically and patiently going after your life dreams. Just click the blue play button to the top right corner and Enjoy! :D #AFGMStYLE
Men’s fashion can be just as fun as women’s fashion; you just have to know how to go about finding your own personal style. Take these basics and a few tips and add your personality to find the right combination of looks that work for you.
TIP 1: FIT
If you want to look your best, you need to have clothes that fit you the best. This often means you have to tailor some things. Men’s clothing should hug the body without being too tight.
TIP 2: SIMPLICITY
The male wardrobe has been very simple for the longest time. It “aint broke, so don’t try to fix it”. Start with two or three of the following: button-down dress shirts, silk ties, blazers/jackets, accessories. Mix and match and add more as you go. Similarly, you aren’t 14 anymore (and you’re not a hip hop mogul) so tee shirts with large logos gotta go!
TIP 3: DETAIL
Not all jackets, sweaters, trousers, and shoes are cut the same. Some will be longer or heavier or more rugged. Make sure that your top and bottom pieces correspond. They don’t have to match exactly but they should be compatible.
TIP 4: SHOES
Everyone notices the quality of your shoes. It doesn’t matter how much you pay for them—treat them like they are the most expensive thing you have ever purchases. It will pay off.
TIP 5: EXPERIMENT
Ignore trends and brand names “just because.” Trends don’t last and brands are usually suited for one or two body types. Instead, find pieces that work with what you already have and suit your personality.
This post was taken from a blog site we happened to view online “Hubpages” while doing our random fashion surfing on the internet. However we decided to add our own bonus fashion tip that is so important to us.
AFGM BONUS TIP: FRESH HAIRCUTS
Reemon is our barber, so it annoys him when a guy steps out fashionable without a haircut to compliment his style; matter of fact it’s distracting from the outfit, just saying. You don’t have to cut your hair every week, Reemon actually recommends cutting your hair every two weeks, with a line-up following the week after you got your hair cut, just to keep it clean. Hair cuts are a part of your look too so keep it fresh.
