Flash Bastard began with three high school rebellious delinquents: Donal Finn, Dan Fazio and Pete Mills. With the addition of drummer Shawn Mrazek, Flash Bastard got the attention of many major record labels. Eventually inking a record deal with Nikki Sixx's Americoma/BMG label. The band went from the studio to the stadium with 2 months. As the abrasion of Flash Bastard progressed the public at large were witness to arrests, overdoses, dysfunction on all levels including press radio and films, kidnapping, lock down, pre-trial, drunk tanks, riots, Car jumps offf draw bridges onto ferries, bloodstained interiors of studios and moving vehicles, smack houses, breaking and entering, border detention, alleyways and dumpsters, near fatal head on collisions with ferries and freeway cars, last minute song arrangement in hospitals, sold out stadium and club tours, surgeries and therapy to repair stage wounds, public feuds with huge rock bands, girlfriend swapping, the first North American operation to transfuse blood, rehab, detox, top criminal psychologists, orgies, car crashes, police bans from islands, showered with fan appreciation in the form of beer bottles and cans, drunk on xmas, record deals, and now spiritual harmony.
Donal and Pete have gone on to play with Dreamworks recording artists SoulKid#1 and have notable production carers working with such artists as The Mighty Bosstones, William Shattner, Sheryl Crow, Bobby Brown, MC Lars, Time Again and Teddy Riley. In addition to composing music for major film trailers including Haunting in Conneticut, Jenifer's body and Jerry Stienfeld.
