Formed in Leeds at the beginning of it all. A post punk drum machine band. The March Violets helped justify electronic beats and jagged guitars. They uniquely had 2 vocalists, Male and Female, equal and yet opposite. Dark and twisted yet somehow beautiful, their music still shimmers with relevence.
The brittle tension that fuelled the band and made them shine finally led them to implode in the mid 80s.
3 of the original founders reunited to resurrect the Violets and thus the adventure continues.
