Tooms, a new crossover band from Newcastle Upon Tyne England, merge hard dance/electronic music with metal. Influenced by Jungle, Breakcore, Hard Style and Gabba, and raised from a ridiculously early age on hardcore, metal and a decades worth of writing and performing the latter, Tooms create a sound which has been described by Narc Magazine as "shit your pants visceral" and "classic visions reflecting the turmoil of Purgatory" by IndustrialRock.net. Band members are Karl Pryor (drums, programming and production), Idene Roozbayani (vocals, programming and production), Phil Van D (Guitars) and Eddy Liddle (Vocals) – this is a crossover band fast emerging from its origins of assimilation and, It won’t come as any surprise to find that whilst these guys have their ear to the harmony of the music, their eye is on the dysfunctional world outside. Politics, life and all that stuff wrote large, they’ve dragged the serious side of metal into this brand new fusion.
