In case you missed it, we were on WCYB in Bristol, VA last week to launch our tour! It was so much fun and we thought you might like to take a look!

Molly had the chance to speak with Jessica Fischer before the band played Bristol last week. Here's what went down. Thanks, Kingsport Times-News

Underhill Rose finished 2011 with an action-packed day, making appearances on Friday in both Asheville and Charlotte, NC. During the morning, Eleanor and Molly visited my workplace, Open Hearts Art Center, a day program for adults with disabilities. We taught a music workshop there and Open Hearts students loved singing and dancing along with the band.
Later that evening, we loaded my 4-Runner to the brim with equipment and instruments (an upright bass takes up a lot of space!) and headed East to play a show at Thomas Street Tavern in Charlotte. Thomas Street Tavern was a great venue. We were happy to see a crowded house of new faces mixed with some steadfast fans. The establishment also has a sweet heated outdoor patio with several different spaces…a second bar, a deck with a fire ring, and my favorite, ping pong tables, which I enjoyed during the set break.
With a Southeastern tour beginning in January, Underhill Rose is gearing up for a big 2012. We are so grateful to you, our fans, and we wish you all a prosperous New Year. See you on the road! - Salley
