Founded by Richard and Sandra Quintania in the hidden town of Fallbrook CA, they have always been strong fans of listening to high quality music. In the fall of 2010, completely under coincidence at a local open mic, they met LaFaithe, an aspiring musician on a one way trip from Oklahoma, and Joe Tran, a locally known producer and musician who just happened to be there the same night.
Richard recruited LaFaithe to sing the lyrics to his song "Please Stay Down Sun" and Joe Tran to help produce and record the instruments to the same song. The final product became such a hit, Richard decided to start a recording studio by the name of BrookTown Recordings.
After working with multiple artists from Pamela Jean to Kimmi Bitter, he decided to take it to the next level by building a team of talented individuals, each with a specific talent that would help build a new type of record label. A label where the artists aren't starving and where the music that is created is truly about the art and story behind the songs.
On the night of March 4, 2011, BrookTown Records was born. Its pilot artist, LaFaithe, has already had "Please Stay Down Sun" all over the airwaves in San Diego CA and all around the world on Jango and Last.Fm. Her record "LaFaithe Ep" has already sold in multiple countries on iTunes and Amazon.com and many other online retailers. She is also ranked one of the Top Ten pop artists in San Diego on ReverbNation.
BrookTown Records and its team is currently working vigorously to continue the success of LaFaithe and is also scouting to find and develop the next 'big thing' to hit the music industry.
