Disflux, a.k.a. Joao Santos. DJ, VJ, Visual Artist & Promoter in between the Mainstream Club Scene and Alternative Scene.

Disflux is a Electronic/ Alternative Dj with a vast taste and ecletic music selection which breaks trhough any nowadays assumptions and preconceived notions about music genres of the modern day electronic music. Disflux plays Electro; Industrial; Rhythmic Noise; Hard Dance; Techno; Trance; Alt. Rock; 90's and 80's classics.

Disflux, individual driven by the persuit of new sounds, started is music exploration journey on his early 16s, performing with local bands as a singer and playing guitar. Years later, had his first dj appearance in 1999, part of a invite to Dj for friends, since then he has not stopped. Played his way through some of the dark alternative dancefloors from Porto, Coimbra and Leiria in Portugal. 

In Ireland Disflux Worked closely with local Hard-dance/ Techno/ House/ Trance & Alternative clubs; bands and other stage performers either Djing or Vjing, promoting or co-promoting smaller underground events & Clubs (Re-Connect; Re-Load Nights; Goth-X; currently running On-Off Club and Dance Or Die Club). Experience which has broadminded even more his ecletic tastes. Ending up by sharing the stage with some well know names from the music industry and club scene (Mainstream and Alternative):

Disflux uses Taktor/ Ableton Live for live music & Resolume Avenue for Live visuals performances. Also depending on the Venue Disflux can use Wireless Video/ Hdmi/ Vga/ S-Video & Video composite cabling/ connections & adapters.
