Soul-inspired Roots Rock from Southern California.

I started playing piano in White Plains, New York because our black upright piano fascinated me and my sisters hated their piano lessons. That was in the 80's and I have never stopped writing songs. I write love songs and political songs but mostly love songs.

I play a lot of acoustic guitar and different kinds of piano. A little bit of electric, and slide.

When I moved to Los Angeles I played in a band called Revolver, I also played with Cheyenne Kimball (Georgiana) for a while during her run as 'Cheyenne' on MTV. I have also done work in the studio for bands like Chris Pierce, Shane Alexander (on his album Stargazer), Whitestarr and Patrolled By Radar. My songs have been licensed for movies and television, most recently the 'Friday Night LIghts Season 5' dvd. I own the rights to all of my publishing and I am represented by ASCAP as writer and publisher.
