I've never been a fan of fancy bios, because I'm not out to impress anybody. I'm a short kid who loves music. I love listening to it, and I love playing it. I don't do it for the attention (not that I'm getting any) or for the money (not that I'm making any). I do it because this is what I love to do. The one thing I want you guys and dolls to know is that you are loved and you are beautiful, even if you don't feel that way. It's okay to be just who you are. Don't ever let anyone make you think otherwise. I'm not here to get fans, I want to make friends...so drop me a line. Send me a message. Come hang out after a show. However it starts, let's make it happen. My songs are all true stories. The names have been changed to protect the innocent (or in some cases, the highly embarrassed). I guess I have the typical musician backstory. When I was little, I would carry around a little cassette player with a microphone attached to it. I was always singing into it and putting on a show for everyone. I would jump into people's pictures making a silly face just to get their attention. I loved to make people laugh. I started taking piano lessons when I was seven or eight, and I knew I was hooked on music for life. However, the piano wasn't really the instrument for me. Fast forward to middle school when I joined the school band. (Yes, I was a band geek. No, I never went to band camp. Thanks for asking.) I wasn't really cut out for that, either. My dad always played guitar, so I thought maybe that was something I should try. This time, it stuck. My mom let me take voice lessons, which was the best thing ever. Seriously, I highly recommend it. Somewhere along the way, I tried my hand at playing bass and drums. I've played with a couple of amazing bands, a few of which had no name and never made it out of the garage. I've jammed with a lot of really cool fellow musicians, too. I'm grateful to all of them for giving a goofy kid like me a shot. I was a nobody then, and I'm still a nobody today. That's just the way I like it.
